Questions
Do I have to send all five signals?
No. Send whatever your form collects. The score is a weighted average normalised over what you actually supply, so sending only an IP and an email is perfectly valid — it simply carries less evidence than sending all five.
How are the signals weighted?
IP carries the most weight because it is the hardest to fake cheaply, then device, email, phone and domain. A computed block on any single component floors the combined score at review, so one definitive red flag is never averaged away by four clean ones.
What should I do with each verdict?
Treat block as a hard rejection or a step-up challenge. Treat review as a soft flag — let the user through but mark the account for monitoring. And fail open: if the API is unreachable, let the signup proceed rather than losing a legitimate customer.
