Can someone poison the network with false reports?
Reports are attributed to the reporting account and scored by the number of distinct reporters, not raw volume. One account reporting the same value a thousand times counts once. That is deliberate — the alternative is a system anyone can weaponise against a competitor.
Is my reported data shared with other customers?
Only as a hashed reputation signal. Values are stored as a salted hash, so another customer sees that an address has abuse history, never the address itself or who reported it.
Why is reporting free?
Because charging for it would mean less of it, and the network is only as good as what goes into it. Reporting improves the scores you receive back, so the incentive is already aligned.
